So, as you could see, i was able to find the solution by myself ^^

On my machines were NEVER the IIS Service installed, like WebServer Services. I just installed them and *omg* it's working !

Someone should mention this in the wikipedia, because WinXP Pro don't install these by default :-D

Thanks to all, who helped/tried to help me! Thank you :-D You're great!

Agreed.....IIS should not have anything to do with it......I do not have it installed on my machine that hosts the EWA and I can get to it just fine...

You have to install them. You need your installation-CD too.

1. Go into the Windows Control Panel to "Software"
2. Choose now "Add Windows-Components" (it's the 3rd icon from top)
3. Scroll down to "IIS" InternetInformationServices and klick on detail
4. Select the www-service (the last one, if i remember right).

Now just "ok", install it and reboot the PC, if wished. I recommend to visit Windows Update after this, because for the IIS Services are some Hotfixes for security available.

And NOW it should work without any problems Smile

But it has ^^ I tried it on both machines. Within this IIS-folder is an option called "http-server" or something similar. With this additional setup, WinXP can respond to HTTP connections.
Without this Addition it seems that it's not working (you know, i tested on 2 fully different PC's)

What do you mean by this? Please explain this in detail, or be quiet.

Before this change, EWA wasn't reachable. After this setup i could suddenly reach the PC's from outside.

So you mean that has nothing to do with it? An easy test: I will uninstall this and i bet i won't be able to reach my PC @ work!
