That was it. Changed it to Blue and now it looks great again. One last question. I notice that beside each of the recordings, there is a Play,Download,Stream button. But these buttons are not available in the Video Library or do they jsut show up for certain types? Thansk again....

Currently Stream is only availble in Manage recordings. HAven't got around to changing the the [dl] to a download button or adding streaming to the video library as of yet.

If you run VLC (which you must have installed since you see the stream option) if you click on the download of a file in video library and open it with VLC it should stream for you....although it is limited to your available bandwidth.

I decided to just change the account that the recording service runs as. I find this a lot easier then adding accounts throughout my network to access file shares through windows xp.
Seems to be working, listening to some tunes from work right now Wink

also had to not have the shares set up as network drives
They had to be unc paths ie. //sharedComp/My Music

The improvements to the EWA have been GREATLY appreciated... I find myself using EWA more and more as a result (and coming up with more and more wishlist items as a result :-)

In the YAER department (yet another enhancement request)...
TreeView seems to be the right approach but I keep running into one annoyance... there is currently no way to expand ALL of the items to the same level in one key stroke. This capability would be similar to the TreeView capability in Excel... letting me select the "indent level" to be expanded on all items in the tree.

As an example, I find that I would like to use EWA to search for all "movies" genre. While I can do this in Table View and get Title, Description, etc., it ends up cluttering my view because the movies are often repeated multiple times during the week/day (to fill up air space) and I have to page through all of the "noise". TreeView ALMOST solves this problem... I can do a search for all "movies" genre and it comes back (by default) with a list of all Titles (sorted alphabetically). But now I have to individually expand each Title to be able to see Description, etc. Having an "expand to level X" would make this a piece of cake... assuming that it is possible.

Thanks again for the great work!

Probably a good idea....I forgot about the below item the will impact a bunch of people I am sure....sub has this posted in the Support Forum under the Survival Guide.....

When IE7 is released (late this year) people may be foreced to change it to a user account from the local system account....

Incompatibility with IE7 Beta3
Just a warning for those thinking about installing the newly release IE7 Beta3. It seems this breaks a few things in GB-PVR. Specifically, it sound like the IE7 is changing the permissions of the local system account such that it no longer has the permissions to start processes.

This will mean several things started by the recording service will not work in GB-PVR with IE7 Beta3 installed. Things that come to mind include:

- Comskip
- MVP Server
- UpdateEPG.bat
- ParallelProcessing.bat
- PostProcessing.bat
- Conversion processing
...and probably some other stuff I cant remember at the moment

I have just upgraded to the new version v.47, and get the below errormessage when I try the streaming function:
Kildefejl:

Linje 510: protected void skipForwardStream(object sender, EventArgs e)
Linje 511: {
Linje 512: StreamerPost strmPost = new StreamerPost();
Linje 513: strmPost.Url = "http://localhost:8080/";
Linje 514: strmPost.PostItems.Add("seek_value", "+10sec");

Kildefil: c:\Programmer\devnz\gbpvr\web\Player.aspx.cs Linje: 512

I did not have the problem with the previous version.

I am also getting this error, more specifically
The type or namespace name 'StreamerPost' could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)

Source Error:

Line 510: protected void skipForwardStream(object sender, EventArgs e)
Line 511: {
Line 512: StreamerPost strmPost = new StreamerPost();

seems the StreamerPost class is missing or not referenced properly from the download...

I also get this error.

Another "bug" is that when I am in managing recordings and have sorted on Show and then deletes a program. The sorting then reverses and if I delete another program it reverses again.

I think I understand why this happens, you probably just check if the variable sort is set (and it is if you already have sorted it) and if it is set already you just reverse it. It gets kind of confusing when deleting a few programs if the sorting keeps changing. Not a big deal but a bit annoying Smile

Thanks for a great product taht works really well otherwise.

What version of VLC are you running.....should be 8.5.

Also....you need to enable the HTTP interface in the client. In VLC...Settings....Add Interface....Web Interface (this is on the server machine).

Let me know.
