I think I've worked out what is causing this. I've got a pre-release version which includes a fix for this if someone is willing to give it a test run. I'm after some one that has been a forum member for a while. Just send me a PM if you can help out and I'll send you a download link.

Thanks for the offer, but I've already got two people giving it a test run. Just waiting to hear back now.

Yes, looks like we've knocked the 30 second problem on the head, but there is some other difficulties they're having with the new version which I'm still looking at.

The public release will be in the next week or so. This fix will be included.

I just recently installed GBPVR and I too am plagued with the timeshift hic-up. Sub, you said in your last post that it would be released in the next week or so. Its been eighteen days since the last post and I was wondering if it has been released yet.

As a side note I am also noticing a problem with the video quality lagging while bringing up the on screen guide. I notice it when I move up or down in the guide. It maybe unrelated but I thought it was worth mentioning just incase. If this problem is unrelated and is in fact another problem can you point me in the direction of the right thread where the solution can be found.

Other than that this is a fine product and i give the creator props for succeeding where so many others have fallen short.

What spec is your PC? The recommended minimum spec is a PIII 1GHz or higher. Most users that have problems like you mention are using the very slow VIA EPIA boards.
