Picture skipping every few secs, DVB

I'm giving my Nova another whirl, as the new release support multiple recordings from the same transponder. This works well and the recording come out fine. However Live TV wont work well. Every few sec the picture skips/stops/hiccups, sound is fine. I've tried all my know settings but to no avail. I get the best with Dscaler, but still a prob. Encoder pass is set to non, have tried pass thu but a bit worse? hard to tell.

Is this using multidec? Do you have any unencypted streams to try?

And if using multidec, what plugin are you using?

yanksee/newcs with a legal card and card reader. Conax encyption on Thor. I had it working before, but then it was sound sync issues. Had it working pretty well, but no dvb subtitles wasnt popular at home.
A couple of weeksago I treid again, but couldnt even get a picture and the scan kept crashing (a bda.ini problem I think as my edited version I used last night worked)

I put in 1.3.7 + the latst FFDecsa and mdapifilter, fired it up and it worked,execpt for the skipping. The recordings came out fine.

Ill give a non encypted channel a go. Good idea.

I've had problems over here, but changes in mdapifilter, the cable network and starting to use acamd I've found that it has stabilised.

Ok, thanks for the info. Have to read up on acamd. I suppose it works for conax?

sorry I wouldn't know. I have acamd, newcs and wincsc usable here.
