Thanks

Is 'it' GBPVR or the scraper?

can you post your scraper log files and its version number?

I think either DirecTV changed some programming around to other channels, or MSN has the wrong data. Either way, there are programs (like VS. for instance) that DirecTV claims is on 608, and MSN claims it's on 603.

I've been gone for a month, and now that I'm back I grabbed the latest .59 scraper (which up until now has been excellent! Still is I'm sure... just not so much for me) and I can't get the guide data to populate. After some stumbling around originally, I noticed that I only had up to channel 213 in the EPG. After more poking around, I finally checked DirecTV's lineup and notice they didn't have a 213. So I unchecked 213 in the scraper 'Channel Selections', redownloaded, and updated the EPG, and voila... now I had channels in the guide up to the next one like that. 370. (no 370 on DirecTV's lineup. MSN sez it's SHOPNBC.) So... I figured out that updating the EPG must have been bailing before it was done and it never was reading up the descriptions.

Here's a snippet from the native log:

2007-10-12 00:23:54.203 VERBOSE [3] inserting channel: 369

2007-10-12 00:24:15.000 VERBOSE [1] getValue() l

And that's the end of the log. Nothing real obvious there to me except that last getValue line looks like maybe it hung.

So if you're trying to use the MSN listings as your scraper source and you have DirecTV... it brokie, for now anyway. I just don't understand how it knows that there's not a real channel there anymore just doing the guide stuff.

Upon further review... there were some others between 213 and 370 that were in the MSN guide and not in DirecTV's lineup. GBPVR seemed to fly right by those during processing. Hmmmm... Maybe it's pure coincidence that it hangs just after trying to add one of those?

Just a quick update... even though MSN and DirecTV's lineups still don't exactly line up, it started working today. It's a mystery to me.

I started getting this error this morning.
Parsing Channels... found 46 channels for processing.
20/10/2007 4:31:19 PM: Error in comparison; DateDiff error number 3
20/10/2007 4:31:19 PM: Error in comparison; DateDiff error number 3

The scraper seems to download some listings, but I'm not to sure what's going on.
Any Ideas?
Thanks

Started having troubles 19-Nov. Updated to V.60 and I get the following:

Downloading data for Comcast(B)...
Parsing Channels..Unable to find selected Channel #2 in details grid. Aborting.
Channel #2 may have been removed by your provider.

And that's the end of it. Any suggestions? ZIP is 17036

Thanks.

Nevermind. It now seems to be working after I tested a different zip and came back to mine.

Thanks.

I had this same error on the night of the 19th, and it went away the next day. Maybe there was some MS server glitch, I dont' know but it didn't affect the listings for me because they are cached for 9 days.
