I am so confused, I have no idea what you are asking now since you said Back/Exit was working for you, and I've told you that I saw the same problem on stop.

As for the logs, that is an odd sample you are trying to skip in since it is only 3m 52s long. Do you have a better sample for testing?

I'm sorry, for not being clear. Back/exit doesn't cause a crash with the last 2 dongles (both 09-10-2011). But now I've got skip problems. I had skip problems before, which you solved in the 02-10-2011 dongled.
I have posted before, that my problem seems to be just with back/exit and not with stop. I would like my problem solved, but I don't want to be to troublesome. So, I thought maybe it's better to put the 02-10-2011 dongle back and solve the back/exit problem another way.
Yes, it's an odd sample, but I wanted to make a new recording to try this. And I wanted to respond quickly. I didn't know it would be a problem, such a short recording.

My pc is in sleepmode (s3) right now and I have to do the same now. I'm, again, very sorry. Maybe we have to leave it for the next round.

This problem is not related to the stop problem. The reason I asked for another sample is NPVR is likely reporting the wrong current time

2011-10-10 00:13:10.764 [DEBUG][3] Current position is: 2679

so the forward skip to just short of EOF is normal. The timelines in the logs show the miscalculation by NPVR

Timeline:00:44:39:00:03:52~
Timeline:00:48:21:00:03:52~

Just in case I haven't been clear enough, I am not expecting to do anymore work on mvpmc so there is no other round.

Okay, went to bed and couldn't let it go. In 7 hours I've got some time. You wanted to break down your setup, I understand, but if you don't I can report then.

2 video's. One digital recording, one mpg (running horses.mpg) from youtube.
The first: everything normal, second: after skip, no exit but return to point before skip.

In other words, it looks different every other video.

Are you sure you are running the latest patches, I see an error that I thought sub got rid of

Code:
2011-10-10 01:28:08.400    [ERROR][3]    Unexpected error handling PLAYBACK_ENDED: System.NullReferenceException: De objectverwijzing is niet op een exemplaar van een object ingesteld.
   bij NextPVR.Players.MusicPlaybackManager.TrackEnded()
   bij NextPVR.MVP.MVPServerForm.ControlThread()

I don't know anything about how sub is dealing with skipping in mpg but a transcoded YouTube download isn't valid for any testing I do. Sub would need to look into this further since the requested position is -2

Yes, it is late there (if I haven't sounded sympathetic it is because I was up to 4h this morning fixing the dongle for you) and I will leave it up one more night.

In 6,5 hours I can reinstall all the latest patches and reboot. Thought myself that youtube was no good.
I really appreciate all the work you're doing. We're on really bad timezone difference. Thanks, will report in the morning (6,5 hours from now).
I rebooted just before this latest test, maybe that's why no problem with the first digital one.
