This is a screen cap of the options available when automapping the channels. I've looked in this folder and found conf files for those two options.

I can work with you on improving the scan file. The ones I make are based on scraping FTA with audio and/or video pid on flysat, lyngsat and Kos and they map well I will check your findings and see what my scraping is missing.

I forgot to mention that NextPVR does supply a conf file for the two EPG frequencies

The physical frequencies scanned won't be the source of the issue since that part is done until the tuning plan is created

Unfortunately the tuning plan loaded for me rather than crashing

It's only succeeding for you because the DVB-S device was marked as present=N in the database, and as a result there is no frequencies listed in the tuning. When I set it to present=Y, then I see the exception.

I can see what's happening. Not entirely sure what to do about it just yet.

satforall, this patch will not fix the issue, but please try again with this updated dll, then post the logs. It should confirm for me the tuning plan reporting correctly, then I can move onto the next step.

Got it, I get it now too. Apparently the tuners were removed from his server so I didn't think to flip them on.

Ok  I dropped your modified NShared.dll file into /opt/nextpvr/system and here's the corresponding log files

Sorry, a few files for you to update to try this fix. I'm hopeful it'll now work.

Replace the files of the same name in your install, and restart (or reboot). The DeviceHostLinux file here needs to replace the version in ./DeviceHost/x64
