Quote:Can somone please help me configure this to work with GB-PVR? I'm not sure how to do this and I keep getting "no Info" when I point to the file that this generates. I see that I should be using some sort of "command switching" but I not sure what this is or where I should be putting these commands. Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks,
Sped

in your batch file, use the /d and /c switches.

This is what my UpdateEPG.bat file looks like:

c:
cd\
cd Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\MSN_XMLTV_scraper
MSN_XMLTV_scraper.exe /s Settings.xml /d /c

In the GBPVR config, go to the Capture Sources tab and check what the "EPG Update" is set to. This is what mine looks like (so the update occurs at 7AM every morning).

I'm using yapi (or whatever it's called) to get program guide info. I wanted to get some more information from it so I configured ultraxmltv to do that. It says there's a bunch of tags on the gui, I select them, configure everything per instructions, update and.... nothing. NOTHING I try allows for any extra information. I even try the update directly to database and I just get nothing. I spent like 4 hours on this and it just doesn't do anything (that I could notice. I does create the new file, but somehow not getting into gbpvr).

Is it possible the Yahoo source doesn't have any more information?

I'm am totally out of ideas. Maybe another enhancement program? I tried the EPG one for about an hour with no luck when I realized it no longer worked because it only works with the now defunct zap2it service.

I really love this product, but the documentation and instructions on many of the plugins leave ALOT to be desired.

Please help...

I believe sub gave you the wrong URL for the thread to discuss UltraXMLTV Enhancer...

http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...72&page=22

But from what you have said so far is that you have been trying to enhance the listings manually. That would mean that you need to click 'Commit Changes' before it will output a file that GB_PVR will import... Hope that helps. If it doesn't and you'd like more clarification on the documentation post in the Ultra thread...

Why do some channels get assigned a number different from their actual channel #? I find it hard to find things in the guide because of this as they get put at the bottom. Just wondering if anyone else has this problem. You can see that channel 638 is my last channel, but then there are a whole bunch of other channels that appear below that are out of place.

Are you using the /c switch?

The program is now updated to .62
