Hi,
you won't need to configure a channel changer or something else to switch channels on your dbox, once correctly configured, the plugin will do it automatically for you.
It seems that the config application is able to locate the capture source, while the recording service isn't. Please zip and attach your logs subdirectory and I'll have a look.

I have so far installed GB-PVR and got the config to accept the capture device settings (with WinGrabEngine which has been registered) and ran the Radio Times EPG grabber (which creates an xml) to populate the EPG section. The DBox IP setting is in place and the channel list imported.
When I run GB-PVR I see two things:
When I double-click on the small "G" recording icon in the system tray I get blanks in Capture Device #1 to #8. This surprised me because I thought I'd set the capture device up correctly in config.
And when I load PVRX2 I do get the EPG listed in the TV Guide but when I set a programme up to record (to the default file location c:\temp) nothing is saved. In fact the hard-drive light doesn't even flicker. I thought that this might have to do with the channel changer option in config being left empty, so I changed the Dbox channel to the one the TV Guide was showing and tried to record that way but there still was no result.
Is there a way to get this working? I don't want to have an extra IR remote for this and would much rather have a plugin. I did once find a WIndows ap that succesfully ran a desktop remote. But I uninstalled it and forgot to back up the files. Now I can't find it[UPDATE: after 5 hours of searching for it I found the software a mere 5 minutes after posting this: http://www.dbox2.info/download.php?viewp...=5&subcat= )
I do have several other questions about setting the photo and video viewer up to see a netowrked hard-drive, and the posibility of streaming the DBox2 through GB-PVR so I can watch live TV. But those can wait for another day because I've got the basics to get through first
Thanks in advance to anyone who steps up to assist.
