- A fast forward that shows an image, so you know when the commercial is over. After switching to digital OTA from analog cable, Comskip does not work at all for me.
- A faster channel change time on live TV. Basically, "channel surfing" isn't really possible for my system, since it takes so long to change the channel. Low WAF.... I don't know how many times I've said "we can't surf on my fancy box"...Rolleyes

sub, I know you're going to love me for this one:

A video screensaver like Vista's Aurora desktop. I won't ask for a video background no matter how much I want to, I promise. Big Grin

How long are your channel changes taking? Assuming you're using live preview mode, you should be getting channel changes as quick as your device is capable. It can vary a bit depending on the specific device and broadcast, but most digital devices will change channels between about 1.5 - 2.0 seconds, which on average is about the same (or faster) than most set top boxes.

Well, I can't explain it, but live preview now works for me! Previously, I just had a blank screen and no channel change and I'd given up on it; I'm sure it was some other setup problem on my part. Change IS fast, about 1 second... compared to around 10s before! Thanks thanks a LOT, as this was basically the only gripe my wife was left with...Rolleyes

Just thought of something that I would like to see added in the future. It's copying from Media Center somewhat. Instead of right clicking the icon in the tray and choosing System Status to see what's recording or playing, it would be great if just hovering your mouse over it would show what's recording.
I don't know if SlimmGBPVR can do this as I haven't used it in a long while.

I think it does - it certainly displays upcoming recordings when hovering.

Not sure if this thread is still monitored as a form of UI wishlist?

If so - any chance of stopping the screensaver on menu pages that are changing?
I have in mind the 'system/update EPG' page where it can sit a long time scanning DVB channels and I never know if it has finished or not when the screen saver starts up - mouse movements don't bring it back and I'm sometimes afraid to hit keyboard keys in case the "do something"

Ok, I'll try to add this.

I would like to see the functionality of SlimmGBPVR incorporated into the base GBPBR program. Mister Slimm aparently no longer uses GBPVR. This means that there very well may come the time when it no longer works with GBPVR.

He has said; however, that he is amenable to donating it to you (sub). See this thread: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...post362678

This is probably my wife's biggest issue right now.

Also, after looking at that Confluence XBMC skin... wow (http://xbmc.org/skins/confluence/).

As far as the EPG goes I just started using Zehd's UltraXMLTV and it has helped with a lot of the issues that go brought up here.

The thing I really miss is having the weather shown on the main menu. I use slick and weather2 currently.
