I can confirm there is a bug in the merged channel handling. NextPVR does not send the proper command for the EXTRA that is selected for capturing, it always sends the first one.

Is this related to how I setup? a bug in the program? Is there a way to correct this? should I delete all devices and if so which step do I restart with? or do a complete reset of my computer to an earlier system backup restore and start fresh?

I think it is something sub needs to fix with merged extras.

If you want to send me a link to cloud storage with your npvr.db3 I can probably fix it.

Give this a go. To save space I removed the epg info so you will need to update the EPG.

Got it, killed all services, copied the file, restarted computer, refreshed EPG and just fired up 4 simu recordings. I'll report back how it's worked later today. Plus side I'm not seeing any of the 4 failed immediately and has made it past a few minutes.  Fingers crossed

Whatever you updated seemed to have cleared up the issues. set 4 recordings at the same time twice and second time also used live TV. Live TV was using tuner 6 as you expected. All working perfectly. This also cleared up the webapp issue (or maybe it was the change to the transcoding to CPU). Regardless thank you so much for all the help. Looks like my Ceton 6 tuner is working perfectly with NextPVR and Kodi.

Great thanks for the update. I ran a simple sqlite script 5 times to replace the correct tuning field values. The EPG copy must also be copying the source tuning field to the destination rows in the channel_mapping table.

Thanks again, so happy with how everything is working. Exported my V4 recordings into V5 no problem. Do I use the same "import recordings" button in V5 to import my reoccuring recordings or is it best to manually reset all these because of the Opendct and channel import?
