Quote:I have the same problem, only about half of of the MCE buttons work.
Exactly which buttons are you talking about?

Quote:If the MCE remote is NOT the way to go, what remote should be be getting?
MCE remote should be fine. Thats what I'm using on my main "production" setup.

Are those shared with the coloured buttons on your remote? My MCE2005 remote doesnt have buttons with these labels.

Sorry for the late reply, it doesn't have color buttons on there. If you want, I can take a picture of it for you. By the way, is there a way I can put caption in GPPVR and full screen without the minimize bar ont he top? And please let me know what I need to do in order to get the start buttons and other that I have mentioned to function. Thanks in advance.

A picture would be useful.

As I said earlier, I have no control over the Start button in GB-PVR, so I cant help you with that. You might be able to get control over that use Girder or HIP, but I dont know for sure.

Ok great, I'll take a picture of the control tomorrow. I just found out that my TV Guide is an hour early and I can't find out what I am watching. Is there a plugin that will fix this? For example, if it says 12:00 Batman and it wont show Batman untill it's 1 O'clock. Sorry if it's confusing.

Your PC timezone is either set incorrectly, or you havnt set automatic daylight savings handling.

I think we'd be hearing from the other 30,000 users that downloaded the latest release of GB-PVR if the show times were out an hour...

The handling of show start/end times and timezones hasnt changed in well over a year. In that time, we've probably had two or three people that have claimed to have show start/end time problems. They eventually managed to resolve it at their end, except for a guy somewhere in Arizona(?) who claimed Windows didnt correctly interpret the timezone for his region (which didnt use daylight savings) - I dont know what he ended up doing.

The "Blue Button" cnt+b is not mapped to any button on the remote, cnt+b is needed for the Web browser apps to exit the viewing of a web page. It is also neeed in some other apps.

The other buttons are not working for Info, and the ones that used to be colored on the older MCE 2004 remote for DVD , radio ect. . .

Every MCE remote I've seen until now had a blue key, which is of course mapped to Ctrl-B. This is why I was curious to see a photo of this Hauppauge MCE remote which doesnt have the colour keys.

The coloured keys function fine on my MCE 2004 remote. Note on the 2004 remote these buttons share the coloured with other functions. GB-PVR obviously has to use them for one thing or the other, and I chose to use them as colour keys since these are more important in GB-PVR. The colour keys all function well on my 2004 remote.
