Having trouble getting the Securitycam up and running. I tried the initial webcam.xml file and that didn't work. Then I read this post and tried this:

If you want to capture a still, use the following URL:
http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/axis-cgi/jpg/imag...on=320x240

To get Motion JPEG:
http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/axis-cgi/mjpg/vid...on=320x240

Just tried the securitycam plugin w/ the Axis cameras and it didn't work... Maybe because it's pointing to a dynamic source?

Jorm - I have an IP camera. It's the D-Link DCS 900W.

Torque - Now I feel silly. After seeing what you asked me to try, I think I left some comment strings in the xml file I was trying to use. I tried what you suggested, but it doesn't work.

The most I get is the HamsterCam label and a black screen. It looks like something is trying to come through. I get a second of a gray screen and then it turns black.

Anyway you can move or resize the cam image thru the skin??:confused:
