I talked to a guy at devolo about this, and he was confident there wouldnt be any issues, and knew of several aussies that had imported them an used them.

Our power plug is pretty rare in the world, which is probably the only reason why a model does get sold here.

For reference - UK mains supply is 240V ac @ 50Hz. If that's the same as you guys (or they're designed to work across different voltages/freqs) then it should be just the physical pin connections you need to worry about.

Cheers,

Their site does mention posting outside the UK though.

Delivery outside the UK
International delivery can be arranged though most of the international carriers including UPS or DHL as required. Please email us with shipping address and goods required for a quotation for delivery. Email us Subject to having your confirmed order by 11.30am, we will endeavour to ship the order the same day. For overseas orders we do not accept credit card payments. We will accept bank transfer (details above). A £3 charge is made to cover bank charges.

They're only a 20 mile drive from me if needed.

Martin

Looks a dinky device, if a little pricey.

Ah, I didnt notice that. That said, an international bank transfer adds about $30 to the transaction from my end, and they add an additional £3 processing fee at their end...which all starts to add up.

A couple of last minute things have popped up that I need to fix, so that release wont be today. Sorry.

thats something i was wandering. I think it should as you have 230V/50Hz, same as us so no transformer involved. You will need an adaptors though.

It might be worth contacting them for confirmation though.

My company has an account with ingram micro who distribute these, so we might be able to get them a bit cheaper. I suspect we will get some at the same time as they look like a pretty good alternative to wireless. One think to beware of though is you might need quite a few extras if equipment is on different electrical rings throughout building. They can act as repeaters though.

Yeah, I did contact them before I decided to give it a go.
