I build a unit in this VCR box - which was pretty cool - except it ran a bit warm (if you follow the logic)

So I took it out and put it in a larger case. Now it actually runs hotter! Big fans don't fit and small fans are too noisy!

I suspect there really is a market out there for some elegant, clean, stylish media centre cases. Most are so ugly.

I am also in awe of the clean lines of the HUSH.

Hey, the bottom of the picture looked very familiar - I've got the same keyboard mouse and remote.

One shot from my couch ^^

This shot is from my babe... an AMD Athlon 64 3.500+ on an ASUS A8N-VM CSM with 1 GB RAM, 500 GB HDD (RAID-0), DVD-ROM, DVD-Burner, Floppy with integrated Cardreader from NEC and a PVR-500 MCE. My 3 weeks old PVR-350 was sold because it's technology was junk.
Ah, over the Barebone are 2 STB's, 1 Switch and a Router

This time without flash ^^

My Barebone controls the TV AND my workplace. I can do many things at same time ;-)

On the right is my loved 8 month old daughter "Chantal" (she loves my MediaCentre-PC) and her best friend "Alizée" a cat from the race "Bombay"

EDIT: This Setup is OUTDATED

Okay, first pic is - as my better half calls it - "Mission Control". GBPVR lives in the PC on the right, the old Packard Bell tower on the left is a mail / print / storage server. The VCR (yes, I said VCR!) is a Samsung worldwide model, that plays NTSC, PAL, SECAM... No comments about the cable management rat's nest, please... Smile

From there, I push the good stuff out to the MVPs; there's one in the master bedroom, and this is the living room. 36" Sony TV and Receiver; there's an MVP, DVD Player, DVR cablebox, and XBox in the cabinets. I use a OneForAll URC-8910 to drive it all (a steal at $25)...

That's my son in the picture; GBPVR feeds his 'Thomas the Tank Engine' addiction!
Celeron D 2.53GHz, 1024MB
120GB, 160GB int, 80GB, 250GB ext, 40GB lan HDDs
PVR-150 retail, 1 wired MVP, 1 wireless MVP, OFA URC-8910 Remote
Look for me on XBox Live!

Here's my family room. It uses an mvp (the gbpvr machine is in the office) and I have a second mvp in the master bedroom.

@ Groover - I like the entertainment center you have there. Big Grin I was hoping to land that center piece myself but they were all sold out. Sad
