I have 0.96.8 (latest) and like it very much.
I have the same issue, channels build up in the "Channels" tab, regardless if I remove the capture source. I have a hauppauge pvr500, and have set up a s-video input so i can record from the digital cable box (stb). I set up a new capture source and add a channel. The channel gets appended to the end of the channels list, whatever the next available number is - lets say "80" in this case. Generally, i am able to make a manual record. Here is a suggestion: Because the way channel selection works, i can't scroll backwards from channel 2 (the default) and instead have to scroll forward to channel 80 for my new stb channel. Allow to scroll back from channel or allow to enter the channel directly "8" "0" for example. Another suggestion: When viewing "Live TV" I cannot go to my new stb channel directly. I cannot enter "8" and "0" to go to channel 80 - it does nothing. I can go to channel 79 and then scroll forward to 80. There is a fairly long delay but that is may be due to switching to an entire new source. And a question: This is a dual tuner, so do I setup a single extra capture source and it will work for either available tuner, or is it better to set up 2 additional capture sources ? I only have one s-video source i wish to record. Thanks a lot for your help. Please let me know if you need further explanations or if I can help in any way. Lesaber |
