Anyone have any ideas as to why my channels are not showing? The epg is all set up right but when I go to view them only a select few actually show. All channels are loaded and checked.

When you run the Tuning Assistant, do you see all your channels?

Tuning assistant? Have not even seen that yet.

Its installed with GB-PVR. It wont fix anything, but should help you see what channels your card can tune in.

But shouldnt the PVR-150 be able to tune all the channels in from Charter Cable? I seriously can find 1 channel maybe 2 that tune in at all.

Quote:But shouldnt the PVR-150 be able to tune all the channels in from Charter Cable? Most likely, but it depends whether Charter Cable is using standard frequencies. If they are, then you shouldnt have to do much. You wont be able to tune in digital channels, or encrypted/scrambled channels. It also possible that you may have run some other tv software that has changed the Microsoft tuning spaces registry settings and damaged them so the tuning doesnt work in other directshow apps like GB-PVR. We've seen this on a few occasions in the past. Did you run the tuning assistant, and did it find all your channels? |
