I am having a similar problem. However, my screen saver is the va panel. It seems to depend upon which menu I am in when the ss kicks in. For exanple, if I am in the recordings menu I get the default mvp ss. Otherwise it works correctly.

Same exact scenario here.

Adding my 2 cents.

The MVP Screen saver pops up after 60 seconds of inactivity. That is, I'm not playing video, or clicking around with the remote/keyboard when the screen save kicks in...

On the main screen, I get the GB-PVR screen saver. all else, mediamvp

Earlier someone said that the screen saver was a waf killer... For me (and my waf) we're not bothered by the screen saver, as it shows up only when we're not using the mediamvp... and it does not intrude even if the video is on puase for a long time...

(actually it would be nice to have a screen saver kick in after a couple of minutes of pause time - we have a baby, and there's lots of interruptions)

I used to ask 'why?' Now I just reinstall...

That was me that said that, and there is a reason of sorts. We use GBpvr/MVP exclusively, mostly for music. If we're reading and an unfamiliar song comes on it's a pain in the butt to look up to see what it is and find the bouncing logo instead of the song information. Yes you can press a button on the remote to stop it for 60 seconds but since we don't carry the remote around in our pocket it's a little tough. Smile

I just wanted to bump this topic a little, just so it's not forgotten for the next version. I'd love to upgrade from 96.8 but I'm stuck here till i can resolve the MVP screensaver issue. I've tried everything i can think of short of dropping back to a dongle that was before there was a screensaver, not my first choice for lots of other operational reasons.
