I finally figured out how to set the DxVA decoder as an output filter in Media Player Classic. Now if I can only figure out how to do it in GBPVR....cough, sub, cough, cough Smile

Uh, nevermind. I guess if sub hadn't made it so obvious I would have found it sooner :o

This posting should be stickied or something. I spent about 6-10 hours trying to figure out how or if it's even possible to get decent playback of HDTV on my hardware. Running that demo breathed new life into to me because I knew it was possible to get smooth HD playback, I just had to figure out how and was able to in less than 2 hours.

I stumbled upon this post because I had just about thrown in the towel and was looking for another posting about a motherboard that I was contemplating purchasing so I could playback HD.

This posting save me some $$$ not to mention the "What do you mean we need more computer crap?" beating from the wife Big Grin

Yes, I do get a millisecond stutter and some tearing everyonce in a while.

Can we sticky this post - it would save a lot of the usual, "can my xf9858888 video card handle HDTV? posts.
