Strange... I'm running the same router with the latest version of dd-wrt, but I'm not able to login from the net without supplying a pwd. I can't look at my log remotely right now to see what IP it says I'm coming into it with, but whatever the case I can't get in remotely without a userid and password.

I did change my Auto Login Range slightly since I knew I wasn't going to be using IP's in the other ranges. Mine's simply: 127.0.0.0/8,192.168.0.0/16

If you're logged in to it remotely someone pointed me at the log on the statistics screen it shows you the ip address you've connected with...

Do you forward the port or use some other setting to expose it to the internet, and do you expose 7647 (i.e. open the same port on the firewall that ewa is on?) I've got ewa on 7647 and opened port 27647 to the internet...

Ok, I must seriously just be on some really good drugs. I did what wtg did, and restricted the login range to 127 and 192.168 and now it works....go figure

Thanks for everyone's help... it works now Big Grin

What is the advantage of doing this instead of using 7647 twice?

Only advantage I see is that your public port number is only known to you so less chance of people trying to access your site......

what he said, also its less confusing to me as I have 7647 set up as an ssh tunnel so it makes it easier to remember which is which.

This brings up a blank browser page. Could this be a version issue? I am on build 64, distributed with gbpvr 1.0.16.

No...shouldn't be a version issue.....I know the log will sometimes be blank for a little while after first starting the gbpvrrecroding service and accessing EWA. The logs get cached and then periodically get written to the physical log.
