Ok... I am using Active Ports from the client to monitor what gbpvr is trying to do. When I go to watch a show, I see to ports open:
Local - Remote
192.168.15.2 18745 - 192.168.15.3 7967
192.168.15.2 18744 - 192.168.15.3 7967

I also notice that GBPVRRecordingService.exe, on the client, has 7967 and 7968 open. 7967 says listening, and 7968 says established, to 127.0.0.1:12162.

The client still get's the errors.

I don't think it's a port issue. I took the 2 systems off the router, and just put them on a plain switch, to avoide the router's firewall. I turned off Windows Firewall on both systems, and tried the client as 'File Sharing' and 'Streaming'. Trying to remove any Firewall issues.

The client computer can play the files directly through Media Player and Nero's Show Time, so it's not a Decoder issue.

I'm not sure what's left to do. GBPVR Recording Service is always running on the server. When the client is running GBPVR, it can see the EPG data and the recording data, it can tell the server to start recording... but it seems that when the server tries to talk back is when I get the errors.

Here's the latest batch of logs... some of the data is different.

Read post #11. I was only responding to one specific error message you got, not about your general stream problems.
