For the last two time changes, it turned out that I had wanted to record a show in the 2-3 am timeslot and each one failed. The first time, the show started to record at 2a.m., the computer advanced the clock by 1 hour so I ended up with a 30 second show. The second time, I think I had no pre-recording padding such that the computer never experienced the moment that was 2a.m. so it never recorded the show. This time, I am trying an experiment to avoid this problem. I have added 5 minutes pre-padding to make sure that the show starts to record and I have added 60 minutes post-padding to make sure that it tapes for one hour commencing at 2a.m. I have also scheduled a show that is scheduled to commence at 3.a.m.. When in doubt, GBPVR should ignore the post padding of 60 minutes and start to record the 3a.m. show immediately after the time change when 2a.m. becomes 3.am. The question is what happens to the shows that are scheduled to be shown in the one hour that will effectively not exist?
I will let you know what happens with the taping.
