SearchWiz - New Plugin

One thing i noticed is that, once you schedule a recording through the TV Guide, your plugin does not pick up the scheduled recording by showing the red icon unless you restart GBPVR and even if you click the program to record it with your plugin, it wont detect that the show is already scheduled to be recorded and it will shedule the show again making it 2 scheduled show with the guide and search wiz. can you look into this. its been 10 minutes and counting and it has not pickup up the schedule show.

I installed it and get and error popup message when hitting the Search Wizard button on either PC or MVP.

Could Not load type 'GbpvrUiElements.keyboard' from assembly
'GbpvrUiElements, Version =1.0.2327.33466, Culture=neutral,
PublicKeyToken=null

This is on 99.12 and windows 2000 with all updates.

Looks like a good plugin, I was going to suggest something like this in the wishlist.

I got it fixed, I saw a new version of the Library was available. Working now and giving it a whirl, thanks!

Later, wow this is just what I have been looking for! Very fast and easy. I have noticed one problem though when
attempting scheduling a recording where a conflict will exist I get an Object Reference not set to an instance of an object error popup.
It's repeatable.

I think I've located this bug, need to do a little more testing on it tho.

Hmm.. I have not been able to reproduce this. Could you

• Give me a specific test case to reproduct the problem?
  
• Send me the logs (SearchWiz.log and if exists WizUtilities.log)?

Here are the logs. I get the Object Reference error on scheduling any show that would create a conflict. In this case though I was trying to schedule this show:

New version 0.3.2 posted.

• Fixed bug where schedule and recording eyecatchers were not being updated if a show was added or modified outside of SearchWiz.
  
• Fixed bug where exception was being thrown if you tried to schedule recording when another was already set during that time-slot.
  
• Created install program.

I think the install program will work, but it is the first time I've used the INNO setup tool. If you have problems, let me know.

I dont think the install program worked, i installed it and i see no diffrence to the change that you made, the program will still not pickup the scheduled recording and the file version you add on the .exe says 0000, you might want to update that. can you upload the zipped file and lets try that instead of the exe file?

Whats the directory structure of the .exe file?

I've updated the site with the zip file without the installer. Make sure you update both gbpvr\Plugins\SearchWiz.dll AND gbpvr\WizUtilities.dll.

Give that a try, it should solve your problem.

Initially I got the same error when typing first character of a search. I then tried the update again after stopping the recording service, confirming the .dll's got replaced, and got another Object reference popup error box when trying to schedule a show that would create a conflict.
