Ok, I REALLY like it, 122 downloads...you'll definitely need to release it :-)

Some Q's for you, if I may?

1. Does gbpvr (and e.g. XRecord) simply retrieve and use the images stored in the media dir (sort of an image pool) or does each recording dir get an image?
   
2. With your program (e.g. like Programm Image Tool) how can I set (what is the syntax) for the batch to run on JUST the single show that has just been recorded i.e. post-processing, rather than all the new shows in e.g. a post-epg update? This way I use fewer resources by only downloading the say 10 relevant images per week, rather than ALL the images for the shows in the entire EPG (which takes a while :-) ). I know placeholder management can speed this up though...
   
3. Can I set a default placeholder IMAGE, the current ones appear to be BLACK, which is disconcerting...

I'm not sure how XRecord works, but for recordings, GBPVR looks in the directory that the file exists in for a file with the same name ending in .jpg. SearchWiz and TVListings look in gbpvr/media/art directory for a file with the same name as the title with a jpg extension.

Current version of ShowImageGrabber[b] does not do this, but it probably wouldn't be hard to do. I can add this to my TODO list.

Current version cannot do this, but that's a good idea. I'll also add this to the TODO list.

The first if these errors shows it can't find the DLL, maybe because the version 1.0.13.1 is the new one bundled with the installer, but it's looking for an older DLL?

The second is the error I get if I copy the last (1.0.13) file from here:

Can you try the attached executable and see if it works. Copy the .exe to the gbpvr directory.

I happened to be looking for a replacement for the Movie / Show info Plugin which downloads IMDB/TVInfo data and I see you are the fellow for that too! Excellent, must try it.

I scrape all my EPG data using TVXB and I miss a lot of description which folks in North America get served up by Schedules direct and its predecessor, Zap2it.

This program does not update the EPG, it only captures thumbnails for shows in the EPG. The screen scrape method I use could potentially take A LONG TIME to grab data for all shows in the EPG.

That said, IMDB does supply all it's data in downloadable form , but you'd have to write a program to load it into a db, and then process the EPG guide against it.

I have it on my list of things to do someday, but right now I have too many projects that I'm juggling.
