Happy new year!

New web interface is looking good. Batch file coming up next? I was thinking, maybe it would be good to have a batch directory instead of just 1 batch file. Could get messy if several plugins want to mess with it. This way they can add their own batch to the dir.

Yeah, I'll get back to adding some more enhancements to the Web Admin after I finish up a few things on the External Recording Manager. When I start integrating management of that into the web admin, then I'll also add maintenance to the Key Word search batch file.

Hi all,

The Enhanced Web Admin is a great tool, except for those without xmltv plugin functionality.

It will be GREAT, if a page for entering manual recordings will be available. Just a single form like in the recordings plugin, to enter scheduled recordings via web.

I sent sub a bunch of changes for the web admin (login, manage and guide). These changes have been integrated into the enhanced web admin now too.

Basically the login model has changed to use forms authentication instead of session, so less checks for new pages. I also fixed some of the navigation issues on the guide page. The manage page correctly shows reoccuring items now too.

Any possibility of adding "episode" descriptions to the search and search result?
Great work so far, thanks for your time & effort.

First off, I must say that the enhanced web admin is great, I use the search feature very often and it's much easier to use than the built-in EPG search. (for those of us who don't have a keyboard in the living room)

Now on to my wish, I didn't know whether to post this here or start a new thread in the "wishlist" forum, but one feature that I would really like is the ability to search by duration. For example, search for all programs that are between 2:00 and 2:30 in length. This would give me a list of (almost) all the movies that are coming up in the next week. I realize that it might be more efficient to search for movies by using the additional metadata that comes from Zap2It but a search by duration is probably easier to implement and it will work for every user regardless of their EPG source. Is this doable? Would anyone else use this feature?

This is an update of the enhanced login infrastructure, it also has some style sheet updates. The enhanced search has also been included.

Can you try it out and let me know if anything is horribly broken.

Now has support for searching in episode descriptions as well by length of programm. Also shows program's start and end time and you can now click on programs that are scheduled to be recorded. Scheduled programs appear with red background once more.

gbweb-with-search.v7.zip

(i was having issues posting the attachment, so you'll have to get it from my website)

there are various previously posted fixes for your problem basically they are:
1) check you windows firewall, it may have been turned back on
2) check you are running 0.90.10 - it fixed a bug with the web site,
3) have you deleted all but gbweb.dll and gbweb.pdf from the web/bin/ folder and restarted the recording service.
check these and it should all work again :-)
