Error adding channels?

This was typically the sort of error you'd get when the device was in use in some other program.

I'm getting this error again though its difficult to pin down as I upgraded to 1.08 and around the same time powered down for a while / had some powercuts. Just turning the box off should not have done anything but conceivably a powercut might have screwed a driver?

Anyhow, its looking alot now like a general usb2 error. I seem to remember the hvr900 needs a usb2 port to work, which would explain why gbpvr can see it but not use it - but why would my usb2 port status all suddenly change to 1.1?

I've tried installing and reinstalling but windows always says "it can work better in a different port" and gbpvr can't tune any channels.

Any pointers would be much appreciated. I really don't want to reinstall windows, although having not done so in 3 years and needing to upgrade an hdd now might be the time
