Start-run: control userpasswords2 should do it.

You don't NEED to run my batch file from a scheduled task, thats just the way I did it ( can't remember why now). If you put all the files into the GBPVR folder and rename the batch file to updateEPG.bat that should work also.

im been lazy but how often does the updateEPG.bat run?

Every time gbpvr updates the EPG, which is normally once per 24 hours. You can configure at which time this should occur, and then GBPVR randomly picks a time between your chosen one and +/- 1 hour (or is it +/- half an hour? can't remember.)
