Is Renaming E:\Temp\VTS_04_1 - 0x80 - Audio - AC3 - 6ch - 48kHz - DRC - Deutsch - DELAY 16ms.AC3 the last line of the log file? There should be something afterwards unless the plug-in just died. Can you email me the log?

Also, are there any files left around in your temp directory (which there should be in the plug-in died without cleaning up). One thing that has occurred to me is that I look for one particulaur file by name (*Stream Information.txt) and the I notice that you have "Deutsch" in your ripped output name. Maybe some of the files have different names in German than English. Although, if the file is not found an error message is supposed to be written to the log.

Hmm.

That's the state after the process appears to have died. So it's the complete log up to the point where DVD2MPEG seems to die. If I press 'stop rip', I get the following addition in the log:

<table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">03.11.2004 17:15:07: User request to kill process
03.11.2004 17:15:07: Could not kill process -- already dead?
03.11.2004 17:15:07: In CleanupStep
03.11.2004 17:15:07: CleanupStep complete[/QUOTE]

After that these two files remain in the temp-folder:

VTS_04_0.IFO
VTS_04 - Stream Information.txt

Nice plugin, excellent idea. However its not working very well for me, dvddecrypter runs as expected and copies the file to c:\temp and thats all that happens. The files remain in the temp folder and I have a 100% idle cpu and no disk activity. OS is winxp ,both drives mentioned are formated using ntfs ,gbpvr is the current latest version and all windows updates are installed including .net framework sp3. Here is the logfile

There was a bug which I've been working off line with pancapangrawit to understand and fix. I think all of you have been seeing versions of the same thing. I've got a new versionthat,for pancapangrawit at least seems ot work ell. I've also added support for DVDs with PCM encoded audio, which I don;t have here in the US but pancapangrawit did in Europe. I'll send the update to sub later today.

Hmm. One thing is clear is that I sent sub the wrong version of the dll since it says it was a debug build and the cleanup step was skipped. However since it was skipped, can you tell me what files were left in the temp directory and if any of the .ac3, .mp2 or .m2v files look odd (for example, very small)?

If you contact me via email we can also try to work on this offline and see if we can figure it out.

Thanks

I have the same problem. My dvdtompeg.log file looks the same. All files seem to be correct until the step 4.
I tried the last step alone in a cmd-window:

D:\Temp&gt;&quot;D:\Programme\pvr\Tools\mplex.exe&quot; -f 3 -o &quot;D:\Extra\DVD\Shrek.mpg&quot; &quot;D:\Temp\audio.mp2&quot; &quot;D:\
Temp\video.m2v&quot;
INFO: [???] mplex version 2.2.2 ($Date: 2003/05/13 20:27:15 $)
**ERROR: [???] File D:\Temp\audio.mp2 unrecogniseable!
INFO: [???] File D:\Temp\video.m2v looks like an MPEG Video stream.
**ERROR: [???] Unrecogniseable file(s)... exiting.

Is it possible that there are problems with the options on mplex.exe or besweet.exe?

Thanks

Hey Jeff,

Here is a list of files in the Temp Dir.

Audio.ac3 = 324,853 KB
audio.mp2 = 92,819 KB
BeSweet.log = 2 KB
video.m2v = 3,975,594 KB
VTS_01 - Stream Information.txt = 2 KB
VTS_01_0.IFO = 76 KB

In addition I too tried to run mplex in a cmd window and it crashed on me saying that audio.mp2 was a unrecognizable file, if that helps you any.

Looking at the log I actually thin kthe problem is in the delayac3 step. I find that it usally takes a pretty long time to rn this step. Your's looks to be complete way to fast. That said, its not clear to me from the log why it might be exiting early and, unfortuantly, that utility does not generate a log or write to the console so it is hard to see what it is doing. One thing you could do to test this theory is to manually step through the steps the plug-in is doing to see what happens if you skip the delayac3 step (that is execute besweet after dvddecrypter). All of the commands are written to the log so you could cut and paste them into a batch file and see if a mpg file pops out the other end.
