Actually, how would you guys feel about being able to specify the color of your buttons/tribal logo on your own? you would do it by changing the color of an image.


I would really like to know how people feel about this, as it would make customization much easier for me:p and much more flexible for you

ok guys, here is some of the work I have done so far, basically just the buttons, and background. Got the main menu buttons ant task image aligned properly, I think.

if you want to change colors, to change the background, it is in baseskin.xml, for the buttons/tribal edit the _color file, just make it a solid color, or make it all tie-dyed if you want :p might look interesting.


EDIT:: if you downloaded the first one, re-download, I had the popup buttons messed up, fixed them

Unfortunately I have not yet upgraded.... have to wait till I take some holidays so the g/f doesn't "miss out" on any of her shows. *I knew I should have bought enough hardware for two machines*

ahh, see I havnt even upgraded my dedicated system. I have been waiting for more features to be integrated into PVRX2, and confidence that it will be stable... I just hope my old video card can hack VMR9 FSE, I have been using VMR7

I have also been waiting until I finish the skin to upgrade... always like the UI to stay the same (helps maintain WAF)

I see people downloaded it... did anyone try it? does anyone have an opinion?

anyone see a major performance hit?

I would really like to know, so I can either spend my time making buttons for people.... or just working on the skin

i really like the ability to change the background colour (changed mine to black), i didnt see any performance hit (but i have a really good machine)

I will try to get to work on other parts of the skin now, since it takes forever to do it.

IIRC I uploaded a version with black background images for the buttons... can you see what you have selected alright?
