Just for you two if still on, and I'll delete later and upload to wiki.

I didn't actualy do anything with the panel. Have made sure it recompiled. You can have the ML2Panel as an active plugin, then run it like any other plugin.


I just tested with PVRX2 and GBPVR and it worked as a plugin and as a screen saver on both. (I'm running a pre-release of PVRX2 so you shouldn't expect the screen saver to work on yours).

This also contains the other fix.

I am having an other issue with album art. I added a new record this morning. I do have a folder.jpg file of 198*200 pixels. It does not display on the playlist. However if I look at the detailed information screen of the individual tracks, it does show up. What am I missing?

I am using standard ContourHC again. That might be the problem? I did use community for a while, but that doesn't work properly for ML2 on 99.12 anymore. Also standard Blue skin had the same problem.
Edit: Yes this is while playing on the playlist screen
Edit2: I should have been more explicit on the Album art thing. Some of the folder.jpg files do show up, but this recent one doesn't.

can you post the log. more than likely its skin related if there is no error.

ContourHC wouldn't be very up to date.

I think I have the same problem. MVP reset sometimes when adding artists to the playlist. No text entry when wanted to save.

And I have a question. How do I add to the current playlist. Say I have an already saved playlist but want to add some artists later. Play the list and then add ? I can't see them when I do that.

I only use MVP.

I can remote take over the Windows 2003 server and add it somehow to the playlist. Less WAF but I can do that for the time being. Where do I find the playlist so I can add or is it all in a database?

I think I have the same problem. MVP reset sometimes when adding artists to the playlist. No text entry when wanted to save.

After you have pushed the yellow button to save the playlist just enter the name from the remote. You will see the text appear on screen. Finish with OK.

As far as I understand this thing, the lists that you genrate in ML2 are stored in the database. So if you 'nuke' the library, also these volatile playlists are gone. If in your directories are any .M3U files they are unaffected. Even after you nuke the library, in the next scan your .M3U does appear again in your ML2 playlist collection.

Entering text that way is very hard. It allways skips one letter to many. :-) besides that the MVP crashes alot while trying to save the playlist. When I add artists to the playlist and press Save it show the current name of the playlist. Pressing OK does not seem to do anything. Pressing it a few times it will crash the MVP so start over again. After 20 attempts I give up for now.

I'll wait for a more stable version and a version with a onscreen keyboard.

Btw I did not find any *.M3U files anywhere on my server. I guess it is all in the database. To bad because editing by computer is more easier (at least I think it is for now )

It is a very nice program and it usually plays just fine. It is for me the far best available.

Will check the forum for any changes...

I doubt the onScreen Key board will make a return.

What you can do, in the config you can export any saved playlists as m3u. And as long as they are in one of your music scan paths, they will be added to the playlist list.

My internal playlist format is pretty basic, I'd problably prefer that people now move to M3U based...
