sub Wrote:To switch GB-PVR to your new Schedules Direct account, backup your gbpvr.db3 file, then go in the capture source settings and hit 'empty epg', then change the EPG source to 'Schedules Direct' and enter you email address and password, then hit the 'update epg' button and you should be good to go.

So the data is the same, meaning existing/pending recordings info won't be lost? Again, asking for someone who has been zap2it up to now and is switching over.

I don't mind being an early adapter, but I'm not going to be the first guy to test the parachutte. Wink

I just emptied my database of the zap2it data and got an error message when trying to pull the new data in.

Your EPG Source does not appear to be configured correctly. Please check the EPG source settings and try again. System.Net.WebException.

Going to the home page in SD I see it now shows:
Account creations are currently disabled. Please try again later.
Guess the mighty 100 have been chosen.

Yes, its pretty much the same data, from the same source, in the same format so you shouldnt loose anything.

Dont worry, you're not the first guy to jump. Quite a few jumped already, and only a couple hit the ground without the chute opening. Luckily we were able to get them patched up and back up on the next plane Big Grin

The parachutes work much better now than they did on the first jump (and second...). Big Grin

I think I'll wait for a few more GB/SD people to land w/ unbroken limbs before filing out the door. A friend of mine said the other day about being first sometimes, "The pioneers get the arrows, and the settlers get the land"

The other way to think about it is that I'll be around for the next couple of days to fix any problems you specifically encounter, after that you might be waiting for a month to get a resolution to any problem. Big Grin
