Does it traverse the hierarchy then I have to select the video.ts file like in My Videos?MovieWiz will natively play an .iso file. Actually GBPVR (or your favorite viewer such as VLC, MediaPlayer,...) plays the file. It should handle .mpg, .mpeg. mp4, .avi, and basically any other video format and container you have installed the appropriate codecs for.
It would be great if MovieWiz could see that there was only one playable file in there and then automaically play it when the directory is selected. It makes navigating more intuititive for the uninitiated.
I still haven't upgraded yet...once I find time to take the plunge from v. 99 it'll be a big plunge!!
MovieWiz has a database that tracks your movie files. In the config program, you specify what directories your file(s) reside in and MovieWiz will scan and load entries into it's database. On load it will attempt to lookup information on the internet related to the entry (ie Actors, Director, Plot,...) as well as a thumbnail image of the show.
Make sure you add .iso as a valid extension in the config. When you "Locate" and "Load" in the config app, your .iso files will be loaded into the DB, with the title being the filename portion of the .iso file.
