I installed the last version, works ok except for the "manage recordings screen"
It won't scroll, there are a few strange items in there. It's the same for all themes, the other screens work fine.

The updated version works just fine -- I would suggest instead of using "NPA" and a black background, look for a crosshatched or other background to denote missing data -- for example a shade of lighter blue with some kind of pattern.

I've done a lot of work on my configs & EPG today, and changed to TV Movie Clickfinder (€ 12.99 per year!) in Germany as a subscription-based EPG service. The quality (and quantity) is much better than the DVB or Nextview EPGs.

However I've come across one problem where the Manage Recordings screen shows overlapping descriptions when these are quite long. It seems that instead of a scroll bar, the description is simply overlayed onto the next box.

Also, the problem where you click on a show in the EPG, and go to the program infromation screen, where the box showing the weekdays is in the wrong color.

Pls take a look on my system

1) go to the guide, and choose "Spielfilm" as genre -- you will see the 2-3 minute blank no-EPG areas popping up -- need to tone them down a bit.

2) take a look at manage recordings and see what I mean with the text.

With 1.72.73 I have one machine which exhibits these problems (three other machines are OK)... on Manage Recordings both groups of radio buttons display too low down, no vertical scroll bar and mouse scroll wheel doesn't work... on Episode Search, no vertical scroll bar and mouse scroll wheel doesn't work. If browser window is compressed horizontally, the horizontal scroll bar appears and works correctly on both tabs. I've never really bothered about it since the video setup is a bit strange - it's a 17" widescreen LCD using XP default driver running at 1024x768 on the onboard video (sis650) of a 4 year old mother board (I'm just happy that it displays in colour) - I havn't got around to looking at setting it up properly. This may be a red herring, but I just assumed that it was a driver problem.

Or do you mean that you would have to decide yourself if you want to open guide.aspx or guide2.aspx?
I think I would prefer a config setting, set it once and you're done.

Hans

I mean....I could setup EWA so if you selected to use CSS based themes (via new admin option) you would not be able to simply enter an address to a non-CSS based page....or vice versa....

Meaning....

Today you can bring up guide2.aspx and see the CSS rendering...simply change the address to guide.aspx and you see the table based view.

If I added an option in the Admin screen if you entered the guide.aspx you would be automagically forced to the guide2.aspx page instead.....the only way you could get to the non-CSS guide.aspx page would be to set the new setting in the Admin screen to use table based viewing.

And then the only way to see the CSS based view would be to go back into the Admin screen and select CSS based viewing.

FTP me your gbpvr.db3 file that has the new epg data in it...I'll take a look. I do have the background for the record days fixed....I forgot to include it in the posting.

Of course you are right, should have thought of it myself since you mentioned it somewhere I think. I have Firefox installed aswell it works fine there.:o
Thanks, also for the explanation on the item of config selection (table/css)
I have to think about that before I going to say something about that.
