I changed the logic, error trapping and logging, can you give it a try again with this version? If it fails zip and send logfile.

From you logs, I see conflicts being detected:
Code:
2008-02-02 23:54:50.419 VERBOSE [1] SearchWizX2.ShowInfo: areThereRecordingConflicts()- END - conflicts detected: True
The conflict dialog will show up when you attempt to schedule a program AND it fails to be scheduled.

What happens when you schedule a program that you believe there is a conflict? Does it get scheduled? Does it show as conflict in the Recordings (built-in) plugin?

Remember, if you have more than 1 tuner, you can sucessfully schedule 2 program in the same time slot without error.

Any chance you could zip up your gbpvr.db3 and email (if not too large), I should be able to recreate the error with your db.

if i schedule a program in guide it will show the confict and ask to cancel the old show or keep.

in searchwiz it says there is a conflict but only shows the program I just selected and no resolve.

maybe i should frmat?

my db3 is about 67 megs

In SearchWiz, do you actually attempt to schedule the program?

The dialog will appear when you attempt to schedule, the schedule attempt should fail since there are no tuners available. At that point, SearchWiz should display the conflict dialog, but only AFTER you attempt to schedule.

Also, I'm wondering if your (Blue) skin RecordingConflictPopup.xml is correct. It should be dated 12/17/2007 and be 47039 bytes.

I am working on some better logging and error trapping around this, but won't be able to release til I get back in a week.

You shouldn't have to delete gbpvr. Just delete the
  • plugins/SearchWizX2
  • plugins/common/Wiz*.DLL
  • skin2/Blue/SearchWizX2
Then re-install SearchWiz.
