I have managed to stop it crashing now, had to uninstall ffdshow, the scan for channels runs fine but does not detect any channels iare there any settings i could change in the config file.

I have Just noticed that in the bda.ini settings that you posted you have DVB-s for the dvb-t tuner is that correct.

I am now getting an error when i go to either view the guide or watch live tv.

No channels have been set up Please run the configuration utility, but i have udated the epg.

I am using the xmltv plugin, any ideas.

You need to do the scan and map the channels otherwise you're going to get that error if you try to use live tv.

I know you mentioned above that its not finding any channels, but I can see in one your logs and attempted scan that looks like it found all the UK Freeview channels.

sorry yes the scan is working fine now. I have mapped the channels and updated the epg data using xmltv but i still get the error.

Zip and attach your gbpvr.db3 file and I'll take a look if you have mapped your channels correctly.

Even though your post signature says you're using XP SP2, are you running Vista? If so, try deleting the "c:\users\<user account>\appdata\local\virtualstore\program files\devnz" directory, then try again.
