Did you try using the Cyberlink mux? Also did you try Tom & Jerry with PCHServe yet?

I was planning to give both things a shot tomorrow (Monday) morning. One question - w/ PCHServe, should I set MVP servers to one (and turn off the MVP's on my network) for that test?

Since I don't need your server logs anymore you can leave the autostart alone and your mvp's running.

Until sub has time to change this, if you have any ts files recorded that you do want to watch on your PCH the tool in this thread remuxes the file so that they play ok with sound.

I had to change back from the cyberlink mux because both scheduled recordings since I switched to it were corrupted. One gradually got audio & video out of sync until it was completely unwatchable about 45 minutes in, the second was stuttering & pixelating like crazy after about 25 minutes.

For recordings you will find that the TSConverter utility is very fast and a reasonable workaround until sub has more time. I prefer ts format myself.

I will never make a recommendation that would in any way indicate that I supported using DVR-MS or any of Microsoft's attempts to control access to multimedia. If my machine wasn't capable of playing HD without it, I'd buy a new machine.
Also the PCH doesn't support it but this has nothing to do with my dis-like for DVR-MS. The utility was the one I mentioned earlier in this thread, if you scroll back a bit. Martin
