I installed a UHF arial and was going to try to use it with my GBPVR/WinXP/Popcornhour a-100 system. I have been using DVB-S for several years and it has been going great.
I re-read the Survival guide for MVPMCX2 and noticed the restrictions section included:
- does not support HE-AAC LATM audio use on HD TV in New Zealand and Norway
I have a Nova-T USB stick and have tried recording and playing a NZ Freeview DVB-T stream and can't get it to play even on my PC. I have done a bit of reading on this forum and it seems there have been several attempts to get this working a Popcorn Hour NMT, but I haven't found any conclusive posts that describe how to do it. I have a perfectly running system and before I go trying too many things and possibly breaking it for several days (Wife would not be happy) I was wondering if someone could give me some advice. I have recently purchased a Samsung 55 inch TV so that is the driving force behind wanting HD recordings.
Is there any way to get this working with a Popcorn Hour a-110? If not do the a-110 or a-200 Popcorn Hours support this, as I could buy one off e-bay?
Thanks in advance.
Andy.
