GBPVR on PC3500G - Hardware Acceleration issues

can anybody tell me please how you install Xp_home or pro on PC3500G via C7-D bord please. I have pc 3500 and could not install xp because always error copying file from cdrom. I change the cd drive with brand new also get another new xp cd still not happening. please hellp if anybody knows about it.

Which File are you getting the error on? I have installed Windows XP Home on two of those boards, without Windows issues. (I have had other hardware issues, read on)

If you want to take my advice, return the board if and while you still can, and get something other than C7/iDot. I have had my share of problems with this one - The first board I got would recognize only half of any RAM presented to it. 1GB stick would show up as 512 MB and so on. As a glutton for pain, I sent it back but replaced it with the same brand again. Had enough problems getting myth working on it, so forced to select Windows / GBPVR. (Though I quite like GBPVR now having tried it). Now suddenly, in the last two weeks or so, the board has developed Sound card issues. Wave Out sound works fine, but Anything that uses DirectX / DirectSound (DVD playing for example) has crackly, and distorted sound. Planning to replace it with something else - An Atom Mini ITX may be....
