I have just read this, this minute - "Sticky: posting support questions".
Sorry Sub, wasn't trying to be vauge, or implying that GBPVR was broke. When I first started this thread it was me having issues with my computer, that I hoped someone might be able to help me with even though it wasn't directly linked to your software.
I am running GBPVR 1.2.9, with Hauppauge drivers 88.2.122.26109 for the Nova S cards.
I have, in the past, had both cards working together, and been able to record. Then for what ever reason, it would record, but you couldn't veiw it.
Then second card stopped working. I was in the process of tidying things up (so I thought) when I ran into (other) current issues.
So I now have both cards recognised, 'loaded' with all channels, but no TV. The GBPVR 'task bar icon', when clicked shows one channel watching, one sleeping but the black screen thing going on.
GBPVR works(worked) with VMR9, PVRX2 (with VMR9 custom) started okey, but got choppy within seconds, with video freezing etc.

Thank you.
Bill.

I only looked into the most recent attempt to view live tv in you logs. It looks like its failing to lock onto any signal. Try it in the WinTV app to see if its working there.

WinTV (after doing a autoscan) comes back with '0 services', so no TV there. Weird thing though, when doing the scans on GBPVR (Digital Channel Mapping) the channels showed up fine. I can see live TV in the small box in the corner. (Running XP Pro).

I have just changed (swaped) the device number in the BDA Device Config tab and got live TV! Not only that, but it recorded fine while I watched another channel, then I could veiw the recorded programe with no problems.......once.
Then it would record, but when I pushed play nothing would happen. Now I can record, and when I push play I get the error 'Failure Playing back file'. Also you can't see previously recorded programes on the recorded list.
I have changed the Multiplexor setting in Misc2 from Microsoft DVR-MS to ATI mpeg Mux, but no change to results.
Alot closer than last night! Strange the worky, no worky thing.
Ziped the logs, any thoughts?
(Oh, using GBPVR with VMR9, PVRX2 still black screen with very choppy, almost no audio ).
