What data can I provide to debug my DVD playback issues? It seems every version of GB-PVR breaks my previously working DVD playback. I have tried many DVD decoder configurations, but nothing works -- 300 movie DVD starts playing but then locks up immediately.

I uninstalled all of the video codecs I was using and installed this SAF thing and PowerDVD9. The DVD plays back using PowerDVD9 and KMPlayer.
NPVR 4.1.0.180302 o Kodi 17.6 o EventGhost 0.5.0.rc4 o SAF 6.3.2 o SchedulesDirect

Case: Apevia X-Qpack HTPC o Motherboard: Asus P8H67-MLE o CPU: Intel Core i3-2100 o RAM: 8 GB o OS: Win7 64-bit
Tuner: HDHomeRun dual tuner o Leaf SkyHDTV antenna o Remote: Microsoft MCE
Hard drives: Samsung 500 GB SSD, Seagate 2 TB SATA2, Samsung 540 GB SATA2 o Input: Logitech USB keyboard & mouse
Video: ATI Radeon 7750 o Monitor: Viewsonic 27" VX2703MH-LED, LG 55" LCD TV

...and did you install some "on the fly" DVD decrypter like AnyDVD?

I don't have any "on the fly" DVD decrypter installed. What is the app that shows the filter graph?

If you are using latest SAF, there is START - SAF - Tools - GraphStudio.

You should try anydvd. It is "must have" to play DVD's.

AnyDVD isn't required by GB-PVR to play DVDs. The 300 DVD I'm trying plays fine with KMPlayer and Windows Media Player.

I didn't have a Tools menu in the SAF menu. This is what I have:

beta 18 is newer than rc1? betas are always older than rc (release candidate), and alphas are older than betas.

Installed beta 18, configured per the directions at http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=40821, and DVD playback still hangs after a few seconds.
