Hi JavaWiz,

The revised MW 1.0.15.5 installs properly. Now to play with the new features - oh, joy! Big Grin

An initial comment on the offline tag. It works well. I wonder if there is a way you can see that a movie is offline without selecting it first? Perhaps a field displayed as "Status: Offline" would help?

How do you see the content of the ID field from the plugin? Does this need a skin update?

It's all looking good. Is it starting faster? I'll pay more attention to that and comment later.

Cheers,
Dan

Right, there is no way from the plugin to tell this other than the play button does not appear/work.

I may add something to the item list, so for each entry, some eye-catcher will indicate that it is offline, and/or I may expose that field in the list of fields the user can display for the Overview and Detail info displays.

Oversight on my part. Again, next version I will address this.

I think it should startup and run a little faster (when switching categories) due to some code changes I've made.

The install is set to NOT overwrite any files with a newer timestamp. My suggestion would be to make a copy of your skins prior to new install. Once installed, you could compare your versions to the new versions and apply any customizations (You might take a look at BeyondCompare or WinMerge to help with this).

Since every couple of versions the skins change (due to new fields), I pretty much have to overwrite the skins, or the plugin will fail when it tries to render.

Hi JavaWiz,

Well done on the MW plugin startup speed. It's gone from 25sec to 12sec to startup - my database has over 700 entries. Big Grin

Even switching categories is faster. I wonder if category switching can cycle around, too?

A minor problem to note in MovieWiz Manager:
- Offline & ID fields do not trigger the save reminder when changed.

Looking good!

Good deal, glad things are running faster. I still want to make some changes in this area, as I'd like to display the plugin immediately, and do the entry load on another thread.

I thought I did that. I'll take a look and add into next version.

Good catch, I'll check that out and fix.

Thanks.

Sounds like you are having problems with plugin runtime, so the pvrx2.exe.log file should be sufficient, but it may not hurt to have a look at the config.exe.log as well.
