Thanks for the pk link, it quickly took me to the BBS link, ah the memories...ringing around the local bbs boards, posting messages, playing door games (land of devastation etc), RIP graphics......

Were you in the Wellington region at the time? Who knows you may have been a user on my (The Nitemare) or my wifes (Dizzys Dilemma) BBS Smile

I was, not sure if that was one I remember.... I remember Ghost in the machine (but that was shut down), but the other names escape me.

I remember pkunzip well.

a local monthly computing magazine always had a list of all the local BBSs in the back of it.

Libraries as well *.LBR

Oh, the memories. I still have a backup of my old BBS system - four 10mb SCSI drives, passed away in 1993 ISTR. O/S and BBS software running in 64k, tools written in assembler and averaging 1k each.....

I've used arc.com Wink but I prefer to use the fastest/best. Besides 7z can use multicore CPUs to their max. Any visicalc users out there Big Grin ?
