He always updates the beta to the same 0.5 version ... (don't know why though!)
See "The latest beta version of the XRecord plugin is v0.50. Attach:xrecord-setup-beta.zipΔ (for gbpvr >= 1.0.8)" here http://www.gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Plugin/XRecord k.

v50 xrecord is still crashing on the MVP. Attached are my logs. Thanks.

Yes, this is the blue skin. Full logs attached. I made the crash happen right before I zipped the logs so hopefully it will be easy to find.

Thanks for the logs. It looks like an installation issue. My guess would be that you have an old version of XRecord picking up a recent version of XSearch. Did you use the installer or did you do any copying/replacing of dll's? These are the dll's installed by XSuite.
FastFindPlugin.dll Guide2J.dll recordPlugin.dll I would try an uninstall/reinstall of XSuite 1) Run xrecord-uninstall.exe 2) Search and delete any instances of the above dll's (you probably need to stop the recording service to delete some of these) 3) Dowload the current XSuite from the wiki and install it Explanation: The log is complaining about a missing method with a specific signature. That method was removed on December 4th according to the CVS history on Sourceforge so an old recordPlugin.dll must be finding a new FastFindPlugin.dll and asking for the obsolete missing method.

Hmm... I did use the installer. I'll re-run the install and let you know what happens.

OK, found out what happened. Apparently at some point in the past the xsuite dll's got copied into the legacy directory where they were being found. Removed those and reran the installer. Seems to be working ok now. BTW, it doesn't work on the popcorn hour appliance.

Glad you sorted it out. I don't know anything about the popcorn hour appliance but if you post logs I'll see if I can spot anything.

If there are any logs they should have been in the logs.zip. I doubt there would be though since it's a physically separate device. Not sure how to go about getting logs from it as there's no system level access.
Thanks for the help sorting it out. |
