now that sounds alright until you get to point 7 :

7) add all your devices back in (new & old)

this would take ages on my setup sorting out all the channels etc. and as you can't 'export' the capture stuff, would be very painful!

It took me ~30 minutes for the entire procedure & that's w/ 5 capture sources & ~240 channels.
GBPVR v1.4.7
Windows 7 Ultimate (64-bit)
Intel Core 2 Duo 2.33 GHz
4 GB RAM, 160GB system drive
640GB recording drive
PVR-500 - analog cable stations
HDHomeRun - ASTC via antenna
nVidia GeForce 8600GT
1 PCH @ 1080p componenent (was NTSC via composite)
1 PCH @ 1080p HDMI (was component)

wow, how come so quick? you know the channel numbers without having to check them written on the back of an envelope like i do?

Just a quick update on this as promised:

I added a few recurring recordings to create 5 conflicts. I then added the new tuner card and as described by the OP the conflicts remained afterwards.

I emptied the EPG, ran "pvrx2.exe -deletependingrecurring" at the command line and then updated the EPG and the conflicts disappeared.

All scheduled recurring recordings were recreated so I didn't need to do anything else.

I think the built in scheduled EPG update (with full EPG reload selected) might do the same thing so you could just wait for that to happen if you have the patience. Smile

I disabled channels I don't get in my schedules direct accounts.
