Beware the "Record Season" Option

The 'dont record duplicates' setting doesnt use descriptions - these definitely arent good enough to use for this task. Instead it uses the unque show identifier information supplied by Schedules Direct with the listing data. This functionality should be reliable, and I'm not aware of any problems with it.

Thanks Sub - I'll give it a try again. I don't remember exactly what my issue was with it last time, I just remember turning it off after a week or so.
