ML2 / PVRx2 1.3.7 how-to?? install guide??

I still cannot get this thing working in 1.3.7. I keep getting unhandled exception errors and a red X. Nothing to do next but use task manager to end the pvrx2.

I think I made a few mistakes along the way. I copied the files to \skin\blue\ and I also copies into \skin2\blue\. After doing some config attempts etc and reading wiki's I decided to delete it out of \skin2\blue.

Then I read the above thread and it implied it should be in \skin\ not \skin\blue\ so I moved it there. All these combination still give me the unhanded exception error.

You shouldn't have to move any skin files. Using blue, the xml files will be in \skin\blue\MusicLibrary2\

I'll take a look at your logs and see if anything hits me.

It looks like you need a file called background.jpg in the \skin\blue folder. Copy that file from Skin2\Blue\Menu and see if that clears things up.

Yes, missing from most new user installs is the gbpvr\skin\blue\background.jpg.

In the "Downloading and Installing" section of the wiki, I make reference to this. http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Plugin/MusicLibrary2

You are correct. I moved the background.jpg as you said and no more error.

I am having no luck getting ML2 to run on the MediaMVP. Everytime I select it it restarts the MVP automatically. ML2 does however run on my PC. Any ideas?

Here is your PC, it's getting errors as well, these don't show up for the mvp, but it is probably what is causing it.

Have you done a scan? Are there any tracks in the DB?? I think i remember if there's never been a scan you can get errors like this.
