PVRX2 exits to desktop after a few mins of live TV

Unfortunately I havnt been able to get anything useful out of that crash dump.

Could you try creating a c:\temp directory, and a HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Devnz\RecordFullTS=1 (DWORD) registry setting, then view live tv until this crash happens. It should have created a c:\temp\full.ts file. Let me know how big it is, and we'll work out the next steps.

full.ts is 166mb.

Can you try cutting 25MB from the end of the file and making it available to me? The attached utility will do it for you.

Well my system has now been doing this as well. I also am running all the latest patches, except the pvrx2 one that changes .ts to mpg for the mvp. I have been focusing on recording and mvp transcoding I had only watched live tv on the server for a few seconds at a time. It happens anywhere from 5 seconds to 5 minutes. This seems only to be on dvbs (unencrypted) and not on my QAM. But I have not done a really long test yet.

The only logs I could find about it:

This is happening to me too, with all the same patches, and the above matches my symptoms. I haven't been through the logs, but my quick fix was to go into config and turn off live preview - seems to work so far.

I have moved my issue to this thread. I have another full.ts for you (this time with the reg setting on), it didn't take very long to crash.

Just like to say I put the 2 patches on tonight too, and same result crash back to desktop with no error message.
