in my experience, A-Data ram is one of the most frequent dead ones i encounter...like they're not very robust or something cuz they seem to die very easily...like extreme environments tend to kill them sooner than other brands...[heat, extreme dust, overclocking]
they work ok new usually, just don't seem to last very long..
[maybe the quality of the other surface mount stuff [besides mem chips] is lacking]
but memory can be hard to nail down when it's failing sometimes...passed tests don't *always* mean good ram..
