Martin, thanks and kudos for your time and efforts working on this. It's much appreciated by this simpleton.

Thanks, I missed this earlier. I was starting to have a sinking that this upgrade wasn't working for anyone.

There are some default settings in config.xml as examples and they can be ignored or removed. You do need to change the setting for your PCH based on the machine's MAC address.

The song "Silence is Golden" is very relevant here. I'm sure it would have been much noisier if it wasn't working Wink

Many thanks from me too, working a treat, WAF factor high.

Thanks, heaps, Martin, for your HUGE efforts and great skill in linking GBPVR to the MVP and now the PCH. Your work is very much appreciated by us all. And just a short while after saying that HDMI would be a bear!! (I am sure it was but they don't call you the Kodiak Kalmer for nothingBig Grin).

I have still got my PCH on component as I found it gives a much better picture than HDMI. However, I think the reason is that the TV settings for the component input are much better than for the HDMI channel!

I have updated mvpmcx2l.7z and NMTInstall.exe with a few small things.

- 720p HDMI OSD support added.
- sometimes the resume screen would not pause video during prebuffering
- I've also enabled all OSD updates, I skipped some before to avoid some flashing but it made some updates appear not to be logical.

Note I just updated the title, which I will do for minor updates.

Hey, it works!

Just got my first NMT (PCH A-110). I tried following the Dummies guide first, then found this link with the installer -- much easier, and it worked too! I guess I wasn't smart enough to be a Dummy.

Very cool, a big thanks to Martin, Sub, and all that have helped in this!

Thanks,
-Brad

You must be confusing the Dummies guide and the Survivor's guide. The Dummies guide is centred around NMTInstall too.

Been using the NMT for a while and but thought I would update, I downloaded the mvpmcx2 file and replaced the one in my c:\mvpmc directory.

Problem is when I try and run the menu screen is way to big and becomes corrupted when you scroll through the options.

I'm using a 32" CRT TV at present.

Do I need to update something in the config.xml file?

thanks Steve

Hmmm, you should probably read the first post of this thread first.

You're right, I was confused. I was confusing the Dummies Guide with the Wiki documentation. Too many tabs open in Firefox, it's a blessing and a curse.
