Can I navigate DVDs with a mouse?

I forgot about that, sorry. Edit config.xml with notepad (not wordpad) and add the name "MPC - MPEG-2 Video Decoder (Gabest)" (no quotes) to the following sections:

<SupportedDVDDecoders>
<SupportedDecoders>

Use a comma to separate the names (no space after the comma). You can then select it in the DVD decoder and the main playback decoder dropdowns.

Thanks so much for this. I was using the Nvidia decoder and didn't like a few things about it. So I switched as I've had better luck with MPC HC on some files and Live TV.

Are the H.264 filters in MPC HC compatible with GBPVR? If compatible, this might be a "free" H.265 decoder available with HW acceleration.

The MPC H.264 decoder is not compatible for recordings done by GBPVR but since you are in the US, I doubt you will run into that issue. If you are simple playing a file with H.264 video from the video library, it will work. I wrote a thread in the General Discussion forum about setting up your PC for BluRay/M2TS playback and H.264 is quite prevailent.
